Members will be aware of the recent incident in the Netherlands where a major explosion killed 23 people and destroyed some 400 houses.It appears that the investigation by the Dutch authorities centers on a consignment of fireworks exported from China. The consignment was shipped as IMO 1.3G OR 1.4G when it is believed to have actually been IMO 1.1 (Mass Explosive).Members are advised to be particularly careful when shipping cargoes designated Class 1 Fireworks from China until further notice.
