1140 - 08/17 - Typhoons land in Southern China on 23rd and 27th August 2017

The Club has recently been notified by our correspondent in China, Huatai, of Typhoons "HATO" and "PAKAR", which landed in southern China on 23rd and 27th August 2017 respectively.The Club's correspondent, Huatai, issued a circular (PNI1709) on 25 Aug 2017, informing of multiple causalities as a result of both of the typhoons. Both typhoons resulted in flooding of multiple areas in Guandong province, which may affect several of our Members whom trade around the area.
