TO THE MEMBERS

TELEPHONE NUMBER CHANGES FOR THE MANAGERS' LONDON OFFICE

The telephone numbering system for London (and for certain other cities in the United Kingdom) is being reorganised because the current system can no longer cope with the demand.

The change in numbers takes effect from 22nd April 2000. Prior to that time both the old and new numbers can be used.

Both the inner London code (presently 0171) and the outer London code (presently 0181) will change to 020. All London numbers become eight figure numbers with the prefix 7 for inner London and 8 for outer London. The Managers' main International House number therefore becomes 020 7283 4646, or as printed in our letterhead above if dialled from outside the UK.

The direct dial numbers of individuals and the fax numbers of departments and area groups in the London office which are currently +44 171 204 **** become +44 20 7204 ****. The List of Correspondents, Rules & Bye-Laws issued on 20th February 2000 contains the new numbering system. The new numbers are also shown in Making Contact on the UK Club website.

Members of the Association who are also entered in the UK Defence Club should note that the same contact arrangements apply for FDD matters.

Yours faithfully
