This circular is an update on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) sanctions enforcement
circular that we published in 2019. It has been updated following the recently published 2019/2020 UN
Panel of Experts of North Korea Sanctions Report (see Report).

Outline:

• This circular updates circular 1/19 on enforcement of sanctions against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)
   
• Members' attention is drawn to the recently published 2019/2020 Report of the UN Panel of Experts on North Korea Sanctions
   
• The UN report provides details of maritime activities conducted in breach of the sanctions
   
• All Members should take care to avoid knowingly or inadvertently engaging in activities prohibited by sanctions against North Korea.
