Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2017 to all our Members and friends from all of us at the UK P&I Club. As always our best wishes and thoughts are particularly with the crews who keep watch on board ships at sea through this time.

We hope you will have the opportunity for a well-earned holiday at the end of a challenging year. Our offices follow local customs when taking holidays during the Christmas and New Year holiday period but maintain a roster of duty contacts throughout that time.

Please note the London office will be closed on Monday, 26 December 2016, and Tuesday, 27 December 2016, for the Christmas Holiday and Monday, 2 January 2017, for the New Year holiday.

page. This information is updated to ensure it is current throughout the holiday period.

In place of Christmas cards the Club is making donations to two maritime charities: The Mission to Seafarers and The Sailors' Society.
