Crew Health team 20th Anniversary dinner
The UK P&I Club Crew Health team hosted a 20th Anniversary dinner at the “Zinfandels” restaurant, Esplanade Hotel, Zagreb on Tuesday 7th February 2017.
The evening and dinner was attended by representatives from all the four UK P&I Club approved clinics in Croatia:
- Dr. Smilja Maravic Bravar from Pro-Vita Clinic for Occupational Health, Rijeka
- Dr. Rikard Lenz and Dr Niksa Kojić from Poliklinika Marin Med, Dubrovnik,
- Dr. Morana Wagner and Dr Lenka Babić from Zdrastvena Ustanova Za Medicinu Rada Dr. Wagner, Split
- Dr. Marko Mustać and Dr. Mate Mustać from Poliklinika Mustać Spec Ordinacija Med Rada Mustac Mate in Zadar
The guests enjoyed a menu of fine local delicacies and impeccable service in the elegant location of "Zinfandels". The dining experience ended with a personalised gateau dessert specially made to celebrate the evening and 20 years of the UK P&I Club Crew Health Programme. Presentations of the Crew Health Programme anniversary glass paperweight were made to each clinic following a short speech and thank you from the Programme Director Sophia Bullard.
The Croatian clinics, have enjoyed a working relationship with the Club for over 10 years. Each clinic, located in key towns along the coastline of Croatia, together form an efficient screening function which serves the numerous Croatian crew employed by the Club members.

The annual Safety4Sea award ceremony was held at the Yacht Club of Greece, Athens, yesterday evening at which it was announced that the UK Club Crew Health Programme had won the Safety4Sea Initiative Award.
