Letter of Indemnity seminar- Geneva

The UK P&I Club, in conjunction with the Propeller Club of Geneva, hosted a talk on LOIs at La Mère Royaume, Geneva, on 25th October.  

The talk was presented by Alec Kyrle-Pope and Helena Biggs of the UK Club and covered the practical reasons why LOIs are used, as well as highlighting the pitfalls and potential onerous consequences that can arise.  

The seminar was attended by around 70 people from the Geneva shipping scene, including many traders, brokers and lawyers, and was very well received.
