North Atlantic Right Whale Protection- Canada Ship Safety Bulletin (SSB) 06\2018
Please see attached ECM Maritime Services LLC 's Client Alert 15-2018 reminding vessels of the seasonal speed restrictions in the western Gulf of St. Lawrence applicable from 29 April to 15 November 2018.
The restrictions are to reduce the risk of fatal strikes to North Atlantic Right Whales.

Transport Canada have taken actions to protect North Atlantic right whales in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
