Laura is the Syndicate Manager for EMEA 1 for the UK P&I Club and the UK Defence Club, handling both P&I and FD&D cases. 

Laura joined Thomas Miller as a Senior Claims Executive in January 2016, after 12 years in private practice, including as a Senior Associate solicitor with a leading international shipping law firm, which involved a 3-year posting to Shanghai. She studied Mandarin during her time in China and developed a particular understanding of the Far East region and business. 

She is a Supporting Member of the LMAA.

Laura is also a qualified solicitor.
