Marina oversees the New Jersey claims team, ensuring that it provides high-level service to all its members, and is also involved in day-to-day claims handling. Her focus is on handling all types of pollution matters, as she has experience in investigating and litigating U.S. oil pollution cases.  

Prior to joining Thomas Miller in 2015, she practiced maritime law, where she specialised in high profile pollution casualties and dealt with state and federal environmental regulations. During her time as a USCG Reservist, she has attended and investigated oil spill incidents which has provided her with a technical background on oil spills and response plans. She is also the point of contact of the Contract Review team for the U.S. VRPs and OSROs contracts.

She worked in operations for a chemical tanker company and for the classification society, American Bureau of Shipping.

Marina is a maritime attorney and a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where she obtained a U.S. Coast Guard Unlimited Tonnage deck officer's license. She has also served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves as a marine inspector.
