The animated video depicts a mooring accident that occurred when a bulk carrier was discharging cargo. The incident resulted in injuries due to strain on the rope, which parted and resulted in one end of the rope snapping back and violently striking a crew member who suffered broken ribs and serious internal injuries. The video emphasises the need for proper training and adherence to safety protocols during mooring operations.
