Michael Barton
Underwriter
Michael is an Underwriter at the UK P&I Club, with responsibility for supporting Members in the Asia-Pacific region.
He joined the Club’s Singapore office as an Underwriter in 2025, having worked in the Underwriting team in London since 2022 with a focus on Offshore Energy, Charterers and Traders Liability, and Non-Poolable underwriting lines.
Michael has a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Nottingham and an MSc from University College London, and is a CII Chartererd Insurer.
