Alec Kyrle-Pope

Charterers Risk Director

Alec is the Charterers Risk Director at the UK P&I Club and performs a multi-faceted role across underwriting, claims and business development functions.

He joined the Club in November 2010, before moving in 2014 to Athens to service the Club’s Greek membership, returning to London in 2018 to further develop and expand the Club’s charterers book of business and product ranges.

He has an LLM in Maritime and Commercial Law and, prior to law school, studied Economics and Spanish. Alec is a regular speaker & presenter at shipping industry events, seminars and courses.
