統合版海上保安のためのベストマネージメントプラクティス(BMP MS)および海事産業におけるセキュリティ脅威の概要(MISTO)

BIMCO、ICS、IMCA、INTERCARGO、INTERTANKO、OCIMFは、40を超える海事関係者の支援を受け、統合・強化された出版物「海上保安のためのベストマネージメントプラクティス」(BMP MS)を発行しました。本統合版は、過去に出版された各地域のガイダンスを1つに統合し、実用的な洞察とアドバイスを盛り込んだ包括的なものとなっております。なお、旧ガイダンス（BMP5、BMP西アフリカ、海賊対策ガイダンス）は、船舶のライブラリや管理システムより削除し、本統合版に置き換えることが推奨されます。また、BMP MSと併用することを目的とした「海事産業におけるセキュリティ脅威の概要」(MISTO)も作成されました。MISTOは、3〜6ヶ月ごとに更新されます。BMP MSおよびMISTOは以下リンクよりダウンロードいただけます。

Members are advised that industry associations BIMCO, ICS, IMCA, INTERCARGO, INTERTANKO, and OCIMF, supported by over forty maritime stakeholders, have recently released a consolidated and enhanced publication: Best Management Practices for Maritime Security (BMP MS).

The BMP MS consolidates previously published regional publications into a single, comprehensive publication with actionable insights and advice. It focuses on providing a threat and risk management process and, recognising the dynamic nature of regional security situations, provides signposts to direct users to the most-up-date security intelligence and risk assessment information.

All previous versions (BMP5, BMP West Africa and Global Counter Piracy Guidance) are recommended to be removed from ships’ libraries and management systems, and replaced with this consolidated version.

Intended to be used in conjunction with the BMP MS, the industry associations have also developed a Maritime Industry Security Threat Overview (MISTO) that aims to provide an overall understanding of the prevailing security threats and supports the threat assessment process detailed within BMP MS. The MISTO is intended to be updated every 3-6 months.
