ime bars applicable under Polish law:

Nature of ClaimTime Bar

Claims arising from the bill of lading	1 year
Other claims arising from the contract of carriage by sea including passenger claims	2 years
Claims arising from the time charter	2 years
Claims related to agency services	2 years
Towage and pilotage	2 years
Rescue at sea	2 years
Ships' collisions	2 years
Marine insurance	5 years

Only these terms can be extended by parties' activities

Claims "ex tort liability" (for example: damage to piers, buoys, personal injury, outsider injury, personal injury arising from a contract of employment	3 years
Other claims arising from economic activity, i.e. outstanding dues	3 years
