Michael Davies

Offshore Energy Underwriter

Michael Davies is an Offshore Energy Underwriter at the UK P&I Club, with responsibility for underwriting offshore energy risks across the global offshore sector, including traditional oil and gas and renewable energy operations.

He joined the Club in 2023, having previously worked in offshore and marine operations for more than 20 years, culminating in marine management roles on North Sea FPSOs.

Michael also leads the Club's Oil & Chemical Tanker Centre of Excellence.

He holds a Diploma in Ship Superintendency and accreditation in Chemical, Oil and Gas Tankers.
