Rule 16
Period of Insurance
Subject as otherwise provided in these Rules the insurance by the Association of a ship entered in the Association otherwise than for a fixed period shall commence at the time and date specified in the Certificate of Entry and shall continue until noon GMT of the 20th February next ensuing and thereafter, unless terminated in accordance with these Rules, from policy year to policy year.
The insurance by the Association of each ship entered for insurance for a fixed period shall, subject as otherwise provided in these Rules, cease at the expiry of such fixed period.
