The Club's correspondents in Egypt MESCO (Middle East Survey & Control Office) have provided the below update on the topic of the signing on and off procedures for crew, Egyptian and other nationalities.
Following years of discussion and preparation, the German maritime law was amended in 2013.
During registration, a lot of viewers raised the issue of Bridge teams interacting with Pilots and the best practices associated.
This webinar has been split into two videos, this first webinar recording contains the complete webinar in which Capt Anuj Velankar, Sr Loss prevention executive, dealt with the case study of the CMA CGM Libra, what can be learnt and the best practices to be followed moving forward.
Due to a spike in the number of Covid-19 cases in China linked to vessels arriving at Chinese ports following crew changes, the local Customs Authority has introduced enhanced procedures for testing crew members for Covid-19 when vessels call at Chinese ports.
