China MSA's Implementation Scheme of 2020 Global Marine Fuel Oil Sulphur Cap - Additional guidance on compliance
Members are reminded of the MSA’s Guidance on its Implementation Scheme of 2020 Global Marine Fuel Oil Sulphur Cap (“the Scheme”) announced on 23 October 2019 .
The UK P&I Club’s correspondents, Huatai Marine, have now issued their Circular PNI04 providing additional guidance for vessels facing difficulties in complying with the requirements under the Scheme. These guidance relate to the following three scenarios:
I. Ships without EGCS and No Installation Plan Fixed
II. Ships with EGCS Installation Arrangement
III. Ships with EGCS Malfunction
