Shanghai Office visit
Earlier this month the Thomas Miller Office in Shanghai moved - in good time for the UK P&I Board's meeting in the city on Monday, 18 October. Whilst in Shanghai for the meeting, Hugo Wynn-Williams seized the opportunity to visit and meet the local staff led by Edgar Wong, as well as admire the new office. Others there to greet him were Shuhan Xu, Ivy Yu, Yi Chen and Jessie Jiang. The UK Club Board meeting in Shanghai this week announced a very encouraging mid-year financial performance with the Club's free reserve and capital reaching $419 million. A glossy new half-year report detailing this upbeat news on the Club's finances together with explanation from Hugo Wynn-Williams can be found here.
