We have identified the United Nations Global Compact as the framework that provides the best set of references when describing our impact and efforts to drive progress.
We signed the United Nations Global Compact in 2022 and have committed to implement the ten principles of the Global Compact, to take action in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to submit an annual Communication on Progress (COP).
We support all 17 SDGs and, although many of the Club's sustainability-related activities could fall within a number of these goals, we have identified the following five goals as being particularly pertinent to the Club's activities:
- SDG3 on 'good health and wellbeing'
- SDG8 on 'decent work and economic growth'
- SDG13 on 'climate action'
- SDG14 on 'life below water'
- SDG17 on 'partnership for the goals'.
