When visiting Members' ships, the Club's ship inspectors often observe good practices and initiatives that may be adopted on other ships.

Cold Room Storage

Good ideas in the Ships Refrigerated store rooms.  ( stainless steel for easy cleaning and NO cardboard or paper on the shelves, thus  allowing the cold air to circulate between and through any stores - good planning on this ship as storerooms were nearly empty and the ship was about to replenish stores/rations)

Anti-Piracy Guard Rails

Anti-Piracy Guard Rails

This was spotted on one of our members vessels.

Good anti piracy frames that slot into pre-fabricated brackets by the ships rails.(pic no.3)

These frames can be made on board the vessel at little or no expense by ships crew.

Quick, and  easy to install if a ship is transiting pirate areas regularly.

Additionally this is a lot safer for the crew to handle as opposed to handeling bare razorwire.
