GLOBALMET Association international conference 2017
L4 Syndicate Manager Sumit Madhu recently presented at the international conference organised by The GLOBALMET Association on 3rd and 4th November 2017 in Mumbai. The theme was "Marine HR & Education - Today & Beyond!" GlobalMET achieved the NGO status at IMO and a representative regularly attends IMO Committee meetings dealing with maritime education and training.
Some of the others speakers at the event included Dr. Malini Shankar, DG Shipping India, Capt. Ashok Mahapatra Director at the IMO, Ms Mayte Medina, Chief maritime personnel qualifications division, US coast guard, Johan Gahnstrom , Senior marine manager INTERTANKO, Capt. Peter Rasmussen, Head of Marine , BIMCO, Frank Coles, CEO Transas.
