The UK Club's Japan Branch office serves the Club's Japanese Members from its offices in Tokyo and Imabari. As of Monday 30th September 2019, all correspondency work in Japan will be undertaken by Thomas Miller KK. Members should therefore contact TMKK for any claim matters previously handled by ISS, as well as any new matter requiring the Club's correspondency services in Japan.

Masaaki Hishiki joined UK Club’s Japan Branch in October 2017, having completed 9 years in the service of the Club’s correspondents, ISS P&I Japan. Before joining ISS, he worked in South Korea for cargo export business. He speaks Japanese and Korean.
Fumiaki Izawa joined UK Club’s Japan Branch since its inception in 1989, and advises Members regarding all types of claims. Before he joined the Branch, he worked for the Club’s correspondents, ISS P&I Japan.
Tomomi Mizuno joined TMKK in September 2019, having completed 1.5 years in the service of the Club’s correspondents, ISS P&I Japan. Before joining ISS, she worked in Wilhelmsen Ships Service . She speaks Japanese, English and Swedish.
Tsuyoshi Shiraki joined TMKK in September 2019, having completed 6 years in the service of the Club’s correspondents, ISS P&I Japan mainly worked for Japanese Members. Before joining ISS, he worked in printing company. He speaks Japanese, English and Mandarin.
Having spent most of his career working in bulk energy shipping
at a major Japanese trading house, in which he gained 8 years’
experience in LNG ship operations and commercial chartering and
deep sea oil tanker business, Mitsuru joined Thomas Miller KK in
October 2019 to handle technical matters and claims.
Hironobu Bekku joined the Imabari Branch of the UK Club in October, 2015 , having previously worked in a Japanese shipowning and ship management company responsible for managing and operating various ship types.
