Alan is the Club's Chief Claims Officer (CCO). He is responsible for all claims matters within the Club. 

Alan joined Thomas Miller in 2005 from a leading firm of maritime lawyers in London. Between 2007 and 2010, he held overall responsibility for management of UK Defence Club before moving to the UK P&I Club claims management function in 2010. 

Alan sits on the BIMCO Documentary Committee, and chairs the International Group Bills of Lading Committee. 

He is a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
