Philip is the Club's Chief Operating Officer (COO), with responsibility for the Club's operations worldwide. 

He was the Club's Deputy Claims Director, before becoming the Joint Chief Operating Officer in December 2016 and being appointed Chief Operating Officer for the UK P&I Club with effect from 2 March 2018. 

He joined Thomas Miller in 1986 becoming an Area Director before moving to manage the regional office in Greece in October 2002. He returned to the London office in November 2008 where he became the Manager of the syndicate with responsibility for overseeing the service provision to the European Membership. 

Philip has a degree in Nautical Studies and an MBA.
