James is the Club’s Director of Fixed Premium business and leads the Charterers and Offshore team.

He joined Thomas Miller in 2013 following his early career in the small & specialist ship P&I market. As well as leading the Club’s charterers liability underwriting, James underwrites the Club’s offshore business that ranges from renewable energy to drilling & production operations. He has an MA (Hons) from the University of St Andrews and an Advanced Diploma in Ship Operations and Management from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
